Dr Brett Travers
NEUROLOGIST
Dr Travers offers neurology services from locations in Central Queensland and the Sunshine Coast.
He offers neurological consultations available for follow-up via telehealth, and botulinum toxin treatment for headache management and hyperhydrosis.
Dr Travers gained his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2015 and has trained extensively at hospitals all over Queensland including Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Rockhampton and Bundaberg.
He undertook advanced neurology training at the Sunshine Coast and Royal Brisbane hospitals followed by fellowships in Stroke and General Neurology.
He provides comprehensive care across a wide range of neurological conditions, with particular expertise in headache disorders, epilepsy, peripheral neuropathy, and autonomic disorders.
He is experienced in procedural treatments including botulinum toxin (Botox) for chronic migraine and other neurological indications.
Dr Travers also has advanced training in acute stroke management, secondary prevention, and long-term stroke care.
Dr Travers is committed to delivering clear, practical, and patient-centred care. He provides straightforward explanations, pragmatic treatment plans, and continuity of care for common neurological conditions including:
